Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • 1 1 head 1 large head broccoli - cut florets off
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 C. golden raisins
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 C. sunflower kernels
  • 1 1 1 med. red onion, chopped
  • 1 1 1 pkg. crumbled bacon
  • Dressing:
  • 1 1 1 C. mayo
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 sugar (I use a Splenda type product)
  • 2 2 2 T. cider vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix ingredients in large bowl.

In smaller bowl, mix dressing ingredients.

Combine and add more dressing to taste.

Notes:

• I use broccoli floret packages that are ready to use. You may need to cut the florets even more into smaller pieces and cut any dried ends off.

• The amount of ingredients used is in relation to the amount of broccoli used and your personal taste for the ingredient.

• The amount of dressing in the recipe is enough for a regular size package of broccoli. There are packages that I saw 11 oz. (I used about half that package normally).

• The dressing can be easily halved and taste good if you want to add more or make a smaller batch.
