Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb fresh mushrooms, slice (optional)
  • 1 lg onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 2 lb round steak, cubed
  • 1 can bouillon or consommé, add water for 2 c. liquid
  • 1 c sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Saute mushrooms in 2 T butter. Set aside. Cube meat, saute in remaining butter. Add liquid. Simmer about 1 1/4 hours until tender. Add remaining ingredients, heat through. Serve over noodles or rice.
