Penne & Vodka Sauce

Ingredients

  • 16 oz pkg if Penne pasta
  • 2 T butter
  • 1/5 lb thinly sliced pancetta, chopped
  • 1/3 c vodka
  • 1/2 c heavy whipping cream
  • 1-1/2 c tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c grated parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Crook pasta al dente

Melt butterin a large skillet over medium heat. Add pancetta and sauté until lightly browned. Add vodka and stir until reduced by half, about 4 minutes. Stir in tomato sauce and cream. Simmer uncovered for 10 -12 minutes.

Stir sauce into pasta and heat through. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
