Ingredients
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 star anise or 1 teaspoon anise seeds
- 3 grapefruits
- 2 oranges
Preparation
Step 1
Simmer water with sugar and anise in a small saucepan for 1 minute.
Cut peel and white pith from the grapefruits and the oranges. Working over a bowl, cut grapefruit and orange sections free from membranes. Pour off excess juice released during cutting.
Stir syrup into fruit and chill.
