  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted shortening or oil

Mix dry ingredients
add milk, eggs and shortening; mix thoroughly
Tun batter into well greased 8 inch square pan
bake at 425 for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
