Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 cup Canola Oil
  • 6 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 egg whites
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cup Fashioned Rolled Oats

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
Set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, beat together oil, butter and sugars with an electric mixer. add eggs, egg whites, and vanilla, beating until well combined. Fold in oats, flour mixture, and chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate dough 15 minutes.

Place rounded teaspoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.

Bake 10 minutes or until cookies are set and golden brown. Cool 5 minutes on sheets; transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
