Ingredients

  • 2.5 lbs Beef Stew meat, cubed
  • 4 Tbsp flour
  • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 Carrots
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1/2 cup Red Wine
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 bay leaf

Preparation

Step 1

Dredge meat in flour. In skillet with olive oil, brown the beef on all sides. Put beef in slow cooker.

Cut carrots into 1 inch pieces and peel and quarter the onions. Add to the slow cooker.

Dissolve bouillon cubes in 4 cups boiling water. Add to slow cooker

Add remaining ingredients, cover and cook in slow cooker on low for 7- hours or til beef is tender
