Plum Tomato with Balsamic Vinegarette

Ingredients

  • 6 Plum Tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/2 Cup Sliced Red Onion
  • 3 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive or Canola Oil
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 4 Fresh Basil Leaves, snipped

Preparation

Step 1

To begin, chop the tomatoes and onions, and mix them together in a medium sized bowl.

Next, combine the rest of the ingredients in a jar, besides the chopped basil, and shake to mix well.

Pour the vinaigrette over the tomato mixture and sprinkle on the basil. Mix everything up and you are ready to go!
