Polish Poppy Seed Cake

A family tradition that my sister Vicki makes for special occasions.
This is better the next day and spread with butter.

Ingredients
- 4 Eggs
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1 1/2 Cups Oil
- 3 Cups Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 Cup Chopped Walnuts
- 1 Can Evaporated Milk
- 1/3 Cup of Poppy Seeds
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350^
Beat together Eggs, Sugar Oil
In a separate bowl whisk Flour and Baking Soda
Beat alternately with the oil mixture, flour and milk until blended
Add poppy seeds and walnuts
Bake on bottom shelf in a prepared tube pan (grease and floured)
for 55 to 65 minutes.
I sometimes bake in small loaf pans and give them to family and friends instead of 1 big tube pan, and its important to bake on the middle rack
