Spicy Sausage and Bean Soup

Ingredients
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1-1/2 lb bulk hot sausage
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 4 cans (15 1/2 oz) Great Northern Beans, undrained
- 2 cans (14 1/2 oz) ready to use chicken broth
- 1 can (14 1/2 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp salt

Step 1
1. In a large soup pot heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion, sausage and garlic; cook 5-6 minutes until sausage is no longer pink.
2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
3. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
