Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
- 1 pound broccoli florets
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, mix the olive oil with the cayenne, salt and pepper. Toss the broccoli with the seasoned olive oil and place on a baking sheet. Roast for 12 to 15 minutes or until the broccoli is tender and lightly browned. Sprinkle the lemon zest and basil on the broccoli and serve.
