Ingredients
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp cloves
- 1/8 tsp allspice
- 2 TBS brown sugar
- 1/8 cup orange juice
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp cornstarch
Preparation
Step 1
Put raspberries through a sieve or colander lined with cloth (berries should not make contact with metal). Combine strained berries, 1/4 cup water, spices, sugar and juices in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil.
Blend the cornstarch with 1/4 cup water and stir into mixture. Reduce heat and continue stirring. Let cook until sauce is clear and desired thickness. Pour over pork chops or hot ham slices just before ready to serve.
