Honey Glazed Carrots

Ingredients

  • 1 lb baby carrots (or sliced carrots)
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. fresh oregano, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, softened
  • 3 Tbsp. honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Lightly grease a 9 x 13 baking dish.

Mix all ingredients except honey and butter together and place in baking dish. Bake covered for 45 minutes, or until the carrots are tender.

Add butter and honey to the baking dish. Turn the oven off and return the dish to the oven for several minutes to warm the butter and honey.

Once the butter has melted and honey becomes loose and runny, remove from the oven. Stir well to evenly coat carrots with butter and honey mixture. Serve immediately.
