Ingredients
- 1/2 cup softened butter or margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 8 oz. carton sour cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 6 oz. pkg chocolate chips semi-sweet
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 firmly packed brown sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter. Gradually add 1 cup sugar, beating at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Combine flour, baking powder and soda. Add 1/3 dry ingredients to creamed mixture, stir with wooden spoon until blended. Add 1/2 of the sour cream stirring until blended. Repeat procedure ending with flour mixture. Stir in vanilla. Combine morsels, pecans and brown sugar in separate bowl, mix well and set aside. Spoon 1/2 of the batter into a well greased and floured tube pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
