Fritos Dessert Bars
By srumbel
What is it about a salty and sweet combination? The flavors seem to hit the spot no matter which one you’re craving. Maybe I’m biased, but these Fritos Dessert Bars are the best salty and sweet treat I’ve ever had. My mother got the recipe from a friend of hers quite a few years ago and we’ve made them many times since. They are simple to make and they’re always a hit. When you serve them at a party people are always interested in them and feel that they have to give them a try. I’ve never heard anything but raves about these bars after someone has tried them. They are just so good!

Preparation
Step 1
As I mentioned these dessert bars are really easy to make. The recipe only requires five ingredients and it takes all of 10 minutes to make. See, super easy! There are some things you can do to help make this dessert better (if that’s even possible!). The first thing you need to do is put a layer of Fritos Scoops in the container. When you do that take a few minutes to try and have the majority of the scoops (as many as you can get) facing up, so the bowl of the scoop is facing up. That way when you pour the toping on them it will be held in the scoop.
Another tip is to try and buy mini chocolate chips. Regular size chocolate chips will work too, but the mini ones melt a little faster and a little better. Your Fritos Dessert Bars will be yummy either way though!
