Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 cups milk

Preparation
Step 1
Cream the butter & sugar, then blend in eggs and vanilla. Combine the dry ingredients & add with the milk. Do not overmix.
Divide into greased 8 or 9 inch pans.
Bake at 345 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until it tests done.
If making cupcakes, bake for about 10 minutes and then check frequently until desired doneness.
