Ingredients

    Loaf white bread

  • 1 1/2

    cups sugar

  • 4

    eggs

  • 4

    cups milk

  • 2

    teaspoons vanilla

  • 1

    stick butter melted

  • 1 1/2

    teaspoons cinnamon

  • SAUCE:

  • 1

    cup sugar

  • 2

    tablespoons corn starch

  • 1

    cup water

  • 1

    stick butter

  • 2

    teaspoons vanilla

Directions

Break the loaf of bread and put in 9X13 Greased Pan. Mix all together 1 1/2 cups sugar, 4 eggs, 4 cups milk, 2 teaspoons vanilla, 1 stick melted butter and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon. Put in the greased 9X13 pan on top of broken up bread and bake @ 350 for 50 minutes. Make sauce of 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons corn starch and 1 cup water, cook and stir until clear and thick. Then add 1 stick butter and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Pour on cake while it is still hot just out of the oven. Can add raisins to batter if like.
