Ingredients
- 2 10 oz pkgs frozen chopped spinach, defrosted and drained
- 4 slices crisp bacon, finely chopped
- 1/2 C finely chopped onions
- 2 t chopped garlic
- 2 T flour
- 1 t Lawry's seasoned salt
- 1 t black pepper
- 1 C milk
- 1 C half and half
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Put spinach through a meat grinder or chop fine.
Fry bacon until golden brown.
Add onion and cook until tender.
Add garlic, remove from heat.
Add flour, salt and pepper. Blend thoroughly.
Slowly add milk and half and half.
Return to heat and stir until thickened.
Add spinach and mix thoroughly.
Cook for 3-4 minutes.
