Ingredients
- 1 to 1 1/2 lbs. steak, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 1 small can tomato paste
- Approx. 1 qt. beef stock or water or tomato juice
- 1 pt. sour cream

Preparation
Step 1
Saute onions & mushrooms in butter until lightly cooked. Remove from pan. Season flour with salt & pepper. Roll meat in flour mixture. Fry in pan until browned, adding more butter, if needed.
Return onions & mushrooms to pan; add stock & tomato paste.
Simmer over low heat.
Just before serving, add sour cream.
Serve over noodles.
