Bourbon Espresso Sauce

Ingredients

• 1/8 cup bourbon. (= 2 T)
• 1/8 cup maple syrup
• 1/8 soy sauce, reduced sodium
• 1/2 T fresh lemon juice
• 1/2 teas instant espresso coffee powder
• 1/16 teas pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingred. except pepper in small saucepan, bring to boil.
Reduce heat, simmer 8 minutes or until sauce is thickened and reduced by about half, stirring occasionally.
Stir in pepper.
