Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 1/4 cups Original Bisquick mix
- 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 3 tblsp orange marmalade
- 1 tblsp honey
Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat oven to 425 degrees. In a 10-inch non-stick skillet, cook bacon over medium high heat, stirring frequently until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
2. In medium bowl, stir Bisquick, cornmeal, sugar & bacon. Stir in milk until a soft dough forms. On an ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by 8 spoonfuls.
3. Bake 7-9 minutes until browned.
4. In small bowl, beat butter, marmalade & honey with whisk until blended. Serve with warm biscuits.
