Ingredients

  • 6

    apples washed, peeled and sliced

  • 1

    package Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookie dough, pre-rolled

  • 1/2

    cup brown sugar

  • 1/2

    cup white sugar

  • 3

    tablespoons cinnamon

  • 1

    tablespoon butter

Directions

Wash, peel and slice the apples. Place them on the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch pan and pour the brown sugar over the top. Add 1 tablespoon butter, cut into chunks, around the pan. Combine the white sugar and 3 tablespoons cinnamon into a bowl and roll each round cookie dough ball in the sugar mixture. Place the cookie dough balls on top of the apple mixture. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes or until cookies are baked. Cool slightly and serve either warm or at room temperature with ice cream or whipped cream.
