Ginger-Poached Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 Salmon Fillets
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1-2 Tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1 Tbsp butter

Preparation

Step 1

Bring all ingredients, except the butter, to a simmer in a non-stick skillet. Lower temp, add salmon and simmer until done, approx 7-10 minutes depending on the thickness of the fish. Remove the fish, cover with foil to keep warm, bring the sauce up to a boil to thicken, add the butter and pour over fish before serving.
