Ingredients

  • Combine in saucepan:
  • 6 C rolled oats
  • 1 C whole wheat or soy flour
  • 1 1/2 C dry milk
  • 1 1/2 C unroasted wheat germ
  • 1 C flax seed, ground
  • 1 C shelled unroasted sunflower seeds
  • 1 C grape nuts cereal
  • 1 C oil
  • 1/2 C honey
  • 2 T molasses
  • 1 vanilla
  • Warm over low heat to blend. Pour over dry mixture, stirring well.
  • Roast for 45 - 60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes at first, then more frequently until particles are golden (not dark) brown. After mixture has cooled, add
