RON'S CHILI

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped uncooked onion
  • 1 cup chopped uncooked celery
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 cans of tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 large cans of Brook's chili beans, mild
  • Williams chili seasoning, original, for 2 lbs of meat, dry mix
  • 8 cups black coffee, brewed
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic

Preparation

Step 1

Brown ground beef, onion, celery, green pepper and garlic until meat is done and vegetables are semi-soft.

Add mixture to rest of ingredients in a large pot on top of stove.

Simmer, covered, for 3-4 hours. The longer it simmers, the better the flavor.
