Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped uncooked onion
- 1 cup chopped uncooked celery
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 cans of tomatoes, sliced
- 2 large cans of Brook's chili beans, mild
- Williams chili seasoning, original, for 2 lbs of meat, dry mix
- 8 cups black coffee, brewed
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
Preparation
Step 1
Brown ground beef, onion, celery, green pepper and garlic until meat is done and vegetables are semi-soft.
Add mixture to rest of ingredients in a large pot on top of stove.
Simmer, covered, for 3-4 hours. The longer it simmers, the better the flavor.
