Ingredients

  • Cake
  • 1 box white cake ix
  • 1 pkg strawberry jello
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 10 ounce pkg frozen strawberries, tahwed and drained.
  • Icing
  • Box of powdered sugar
  • Juice from strawberries
  • 1 stick butter

Preparation

Step 1

Cake: Add dry jello to cake mix. Add water and cooking oil. Add the 3 beaten eggs. Mix WELL or use mixer. Fold in strawberries CAREFULLY. Bake in 2 square tins 8x8x2-1/2 inches at 350 for 30 or 40 minutes.

Icing: Cream butter well. Add sugar and juice. Red cake coloring may be added to frosting.
