Sauteed carrots and raisins

Ingredients

  • 6 Tbs. butter
  • 20 oz. matchstick carrots
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 Tbs. fresh orange zest
  • 1/4 c. fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add carrots, raisins, orange zest, orange juice, sugar, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Cook until tender, 10 - 12 minutes. stirring occasionally.
