Ingredients

• 2 eggs
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup shortening
• 1 cup milk
• 5 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp baking soda-scant
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1/4 tsp salt
• flour to make a fairly stiff dough

Preparation

Step 1

cream shortening,add sugar and eggs,beat well.Then add alternately the flour sifted with the baking soda,powder and salt with the milk.Roll out,bake at 350 degrees until done.Ice with white or chocolate icing and sprinkle with coconut.
