  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 tbsp. grated lemon rind
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 8 (1-inch thick) French bread slices



Step 1

Combine first 4 ingredients; spread on both sides of French bread slices.

Grill, without grill lid, over medium-high heat (350° to 400°) 2 minutes on each side or until bread slices are lightly browned.
