    cups flour

  • ½

    tsp salt

  • 1

    lb Bacon

Fry up some bacon to a crisp Prepare a large pot of boiling water. Mix 4 cups of flour into a large bowl, in the middle of the flour, make a bowl indentation, add the eggs into the middle of that bowl, and mix. Add a ½ and ½ mixture of milk and water until it gets to the right consistency, somewhere between the consistency of bread dough and pancake batter. Oil your hands with vegetable oil so the batter won’t stick to your hands. Put a large blob of batter in your hand and break off 3” x ½” sections with a butter knife and drop each section into the water. DON’T put in too much batter at once, this will need to be repeated about 3 times. Cook for 4 to 6 minutes. Throw into a colander and drain. Repeat this until all the batter is done. Add crushed bacon, butter, salt, and pepper to taste, and enjoy !
