Ingredients
- 5 c rolled oats
- 1 1/2 c shredded unsweetened coconut
- 1 1/2 c oat bran
- 1 c sunflower seeds
- 1 1/2 c pecans broke in half
- 1 1/2 c chopped almonds
- 1/2 c flax seeds (ground or whole)
- 1/2 c amaranth grain (uncooked)
- 1 1/2 c olive oil
- 1 1/2 c maple syrup
Preparation
Step 1
Pour onto 2 cookie sheets or casserole pans. Don't stir during cooking if you want lumpy granola. If you choose to stir while cooking it will be drier and not lump together, still good but not as rich tasting. Cook at 325 for 45 min. Keep checking to make sure it doesn't burn.
