Bundt Cake Glazes

Ingredients

  • Sugar Glaze:
  • Chocolate Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 T. milk, 2 T corn syrup, 1 envelope melted unsweetened chocolate.
  • Spice Glaze: 1 cup sifted powdered sugar, 1 T milk, 1/4 t vanilla extract, 1 T. light corn syrup, 1 t. spice of choice.
  • Lemon Glaze: substitute 1 T. fresh lemon juice for juice, spice and milk in Spice recipe
  • Coffee Glaze: dissolve 1 t. instant coffee in 1 T. boiling water. Follow recipe for Spice Glaze but substitute coffee for milk, spice and vanilla extract.
  • Apple Glaze: Follow recipe for Spice but substitute 1 T. apple juice for the milk, spice and vanilla.
  • Transparent glazes to be brushed on warm cakes
  • Orange Juice Glaze: 1/2 cup Orange Juice concentrate thawed, 1/3 cup sugar. Combine in saucepan. Bring to boil and boil very gently for 4 mins. Immediately brush on warm cake.
  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup, 3 T brown sugar, 2 T water. In small saucepan heat all ingredients and boil for 1 minute. Brush over top of warm cake.

In small bowl combine all ingredients and beat until smooth. Pour glaze on top of cake and let it run down sides.
