"Easily our favorite meatloaf recipe. Better than the brown sugar / ketchup on the bottom recipe (we think).

Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 1/2 C. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 C. ketchup
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 C. milk (approx.)
- 2 eggs
- 1 T. salt
- 1 t. pepper
- 1/4 C. onion, chopped
- 1 t. mustard
- 1 t. sage
- 1 C. bread crumbs or finely crushed saltine crackers
- 3 T brown sugar
- 1/4 C. ketchup
- 1/4 t. nutmeg
- 1 t. dry mustard

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease loaf pan. I used ceramic loaf pan.
2. In a mixing bowl, mix thoroughly all ingredients and shape into a loaf.
3. Bake in preheated oven for 1 t 1 1/2 hours or until juices run clear.
4. Spread sauce over loaf the last 15 minutes of baking time.
