Banana Nut Cake

Ingredients

  • Banana Icing:
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 (4 3/4 oz. ) jar strained bananas
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup butter 1 (16 oz. ) box powdered sugar
  • 1 (4 3/4 oz. ) jar strained bananas
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Combine first 5 ingredients and beat until batter is smooth. Mix in nuts. Pour into 2 well greased and floured 8 inch round cake pans. Bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes or until done.

Banana Icing:
Cream butter and sugar. Add bananas and vanilla; then add nuts. Ice cooled cake layers.
