Ingredients
- Ingredients for 2-3 portions:
- 2 tsp melted butter
- 1 sliced garlic clove
- 1/3 cup aged balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp minced red chilies -this could be a chili sauce or a fresno chili
- 1/2 tsp tomato paste
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- Calabrian chilli peppers in a jar.
Preparation
Step 1
Sautee garlic to just before browning.
Add balsamic. Let reduce on medium heat by 2/3.
Turn heat to low and add small amount of tomatoe paste. Stir.
Season with liberal cracked pepper and salt to taste.
Turn off heat. Add chunk of cold un-salted butter and stir continuously
until butter melts.
Taste---may have to add extra seasonings.
