Key Lime Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup Key Lime Juice
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 graham cracker crust-8 inch
  • 1-2 drops of green food coloring;
  • if desired
  • Lime Zest and whipping cream for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.

1. Whip egg yolks until light in color.
2. Add and blend in the condensed milk and lime juice.
3. Pour filling into graham cracker pie crust.

Bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove and let cool to room temperature. Refrigerate to set pie filling overnight.

Serve pie with whipping cream dusted with a small bit of lime zest.

Double recipe for a 10 inch pie crust.
Triple recipe for two 8-9 inch pie crusts.
