Hamburger Tip

  • Hamburger
  • 1 small raw potato

In the 60s an old Alaskan cook told me to peel and finely grate a small raw potato, add it to about one lb. of hamburger and mix in well. It will not alter the flavor but will keep the patties a bit more moist instead of them getting too dry when frying/grilling. Still works for me.
