Crispy Oven Baked Fish

Ingredients

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp water
  • 1/3 cup Progresso Italian Style Bread Crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 2 (3 to 4oz) codd, catfish, orange roughy or striped bass fillets
  • 4 lemon wedges

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 400. Line cookie sheet with foil; generously spray foil with nonstick cooking spray. In shallow bowl or dish, beat eagg white and water until soft peaks form. In another shallow bowl or dish, combine bread crumbs, lemon pepper seasoning and garlic salt; mix well. Dip cod fillets in egg white mixture; coat with bread crumb mixture. Place on sprayed foil lined sheet. Spray fillets with cooking spray. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes. Turn fillets; bake an additional 5 to 10 minutes or until thickest part of fish flakes easily with fork. To serve, place fillets on serving platter; garnish with lemon wedges.
