Ingredients
- 1 1/2-2 lbs. of farmers pork ribs cut into 2 inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 tablespoon black bean sauce (found in Asian food section)
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons grated ginger or use jar ginger
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 teaspoons corn starch
- 2 tablespoon water extra
- 2 teaspoons sherry optional

Preparation
Step 1
In Dutch oven, sauté pork in the hot oil till brown. In a blender combined: 1 cup water, black beans, soy sauce, ginger and garlic. Blend till smooth, then pour over the ribs. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer for 1 hour. Combine the cornstarch, 1 tablespoon water and sherry until smooth. Add to pan and stir until sauce boils over higher heat and thickens. Reduce heat and simmer 1 more minute.
