Easy Twice Baked Meatballs

Four ingredients combine for a cheesy meatball dish you can serve as an appetizer or in hoagie buns as a main dish.

Ingredients
- 1 32-ounce jar spaghetti sauce
- 2 16-ounce packages frozen cooked meatballs (about 35 meatballs)
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 12 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese (3 cups)
- Hoagie buns, split (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Spoon about 1/3 of the jar of spaghetti sauce into a 13x9x2-inch baking dish.
Arrange the meatballs in the sauce.
Pour the remaining sauce over the meatballs.
Sprinkle the meatballs with pepper. Top with mozzarella.
Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven 30 to 40 minutes or until meatballs are heated and cheese is bubbly.
If you like, serve in hoagie buns and sprinkle with additional mozzarella cheese.
Makes 8 or 9 sandwiches.
