Four Hour Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • Stew meat, 1 lbs., cubed
  • 3 med. Potatoes, pared and quartered
  • 6 med. Carrots, pared, cut in 1 inch pieces
  • 2 med. Onions, quartered
  • 1 cup celery
  • 2 tsp salt, pepper to taste
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water, cup flour, cup water

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in Dutch Oven. Season. Pour on tomato sauce and the 1 cup water. Cover

Bake for 4 hours or in crock pot. Make rue with flour and cup water. Add to stew to thicken and cook until thickening occurs.
