Lemon Curd Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup lemon curd
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 stick softened butter
  • 1 cup shortening

Preparation

Step 1

In mixer bowl, place the first 5 ingredients.

Whip until creamy.

Slowly start adding the butter a little at a time until it is all incorporated.

Then slowly add shortening.

Whip this mixture on high speed for at least 10 minutes.
