Gooseberry Salad

  • 2-1/2 Cups Fresh Or Frozen Gooseberries
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 2 Pkg. Lemon Jello
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Orange Juice
  • 2 Cups Celery Cut Fine
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans


Preparation time 30mins


Step 1

Cook Berries, 1 Cup sugar and 1/2 Cup Water for 15-20 Minutes and then cool.
Dissolve Jello and 1/4 Cup sugar in 2-1/2 Cups Boiling Water and Chill.
Add Orange Juice, Gooseberies, Celery, and Pecans to Set Jello Mixture.
Refrigerate Till Ready to Serve.
