Ingredients

  • Combine 1 8oz pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • Set aside 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Mix together. 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Add: 1cup water
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Beat all ingredients well, except the cream cheese mixture and chocolate chips. Fill muffin cups 1/3 full of chocolate batter. Add a touch of cream cheese mixture, then top with chocolate chips.
Bake regular size cupcakes for 20 to 25 minutes at 350. Mini cupcakes for 15 minutes.
