Cream Cheese Poundcake

Ingredients

  • 1-8oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 C butter, softened
  • 1-1/2 C granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 C cake flour, sifted
  • 1-1/4 tsp baking powder
  • Powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Blend cheese, butter and sugar on medium speed. On low speed, blend in eggs. Combine flour, bakingn powder and add to cheese mixture, blending until smooth.

Pour into 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.

Bake 80 minutes until golden brown.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
