Ingredients
- 1 c Confectioners Sugar
- 3/4 c Almonds or Almond Flour
- 2 large Egg Whites
- pinch Cream Of tartar
- 1/4 c Sugar
Preparation
Step 1
In food processor process confectioners' sugar and almonds until finely ground. Sift.
In mixer bowl whip egg whites and cream of tartar until very stiff. Add sugar.
Fold egg white mixture into almond flour mixture. Add food color and mix well.
Place dough into pastry bags and pipe on cooking sheet in small rounds and Bake at 375 degrees then lower to 325 degrees for 10 minutes. Fill with chocolate buttercream between two cookies.
