Crab Puffs ***

Ingredients

  • 1 8 ounce cream cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon mild
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream horseradish
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup slivered almond, toasted
  • 2 Tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • Dash pepper
  • 1 1/2 cup crab (6 1/2 ounce can) drained and flaked
  • Cream puffs

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 375. Combine cream cheese, milk, horseradish, salt, and pepper. Mix until blended. Stir in crab, almonds and onion. Cut tops off puffs. Fill with crab. Peplace tops and bake 10 minutes.

Puffs: Heat oven to 400. Bring water and margarine to boil. Add flour and salt. Stir vigorously over low heat until mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat and add eggs one at a time beating until smooth after each addition. Drop teaspoonful onto ungreased baking sheet. Bate at 400 for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove immediately. Can be frozen. Reheat at 375 for 30 minutes.
