Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 3 tbsp melted butter or vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

1. Stir dry ingredients together.
2. Beat egg and add milk.
3. Make a well in centre of dry ingredients, slowly add the egg-milk mixture. Add melted butter and vanilla Stir quickly until ingredients are just mixed.
