Ingredients

  • 1 - Head lettuce
  • 1 - Bunch of little green onions
  • 1 - Cup of celery
  • 1 - Can water chestnuts
  • 1 - 10oz package frozen peas
  • 2 - Cups mayonaise
  • 1 - Tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 - Teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 - Teaspoon pepper
  • Parmisean cheese
  • Bacon bits

Preparation

Step 1

Cook 10oz package of frozen peas and let cool.
Shred 1 head of lettuce in 13" x 9" casserole dish.
Spread 1 cup chopped little green onions evenly over lettuce.
Chop 1 cup of celery and spread evenly over dish.
Drain water from 1 can of sliced water chestnuts and spread over dish.
Spread peas over dish evenly.
Spread 2 cups mayonaise over all layers.
Mix:
1-tablespoon sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper
and spread evenly over top of dish.
Sprinkle parmisean cheese over top to liking.
Refrigerate for 24 hours.
Just before serving, sprinkle with bacon bits to liking.
