Ingredients

  • 1 pkg 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 / cup (10z) blue cheese crumbled
  • 1/4 / cup Finley minced green onion white part only
  • 3/4 /cup pecans divided
  • 10 slices bacon, cooked drained and crumbled divided
  • 1/4 /cup craisins
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/4 /cup minced parsley
  • 1 Tbsp poppy seed

Preparation

Step 1

In large mixing bowl, whip cream cheese on speed 2 with flat beater for 1 minute. Scrape bowl, gradually add milk, mixing until well blended about 1 minute.
Scrape bowl . Add both cheeses, onions, craisins, 1/2 the bacon and 1/2 the pecans. Turn to speed 4 and beat until well blended. about 1 more minute. season with salt and pepper. Transfer mixture to a large piece of plastic wrap. Form into a ball and wrap tightly. Refrigerate or freeze for 2 hours. Combine remaining bacon, pecans, parsley and poppy seeds in a pie plate. Roll ball lightly in nut mixture until evenly coated. Cover until ready to serve.
